오늘아침 주님의 임재 가운데 놀라운 예배의 시간이 있은 후, 지난 2주 동안 예닐곱 번 다녀온 천국의 거실에 나는 서 있었다. 거실에는 사람들이 가고 남은 몇 명이 막 나가고 있는 참 이었다. 거실에는 몇 명의 천사들이 아직 있었는데, 어떤 천사들은 잔치가 끝나고 남은 것들을 치우고 있었고, 또 어떤 천사들은 내가 처음 보는 기구들을 고치고 있었다. 한 천사가 넓이가 12x12 인치 정도 되고 두께는 8 인치 정도되는 네모난 기구를 고치고 있었다. 내가 주님께 이해를 구하자, 주께서는 그들이 숨겨진 것들을 아직까지도 고치고 있다고 했다. 어떤 사람이 이 기구를 고치기 위해 남겨두고 갔다는 것이다. 그리고 그 기구는 복음을 선포하는 목소리 라고 했다. 그것은 그 사람의 성대도 후두도 아니었다. 그것은 영적 은사 같은 것이었는데 제대로 사용되지 못했고, 이 사람이 추수의 일꾼으로 일하기 위해서 사용되어야 하는 것이었다. 나는 그가 그것을 그냥 놓고 갔다는 것이 좀 놀라웠다.
몇 분 후, 나는 밖으로 나가게 되었고, 밖에서 어떤 남자들이 그룹사진을 찍는 것을 보았다. 그들은 10명씩 4줄로 서서 사진을 찍고 있었는데, 다들 하얀 셔츠에 검정 정장을 하고 어두운 색상의 넥타이를 하고 있었다. 그들은 모두 단정해 보였고 멋진 사진을 만들 준비가 되어 보였다. 내가 보기엔 모든 것이 좋아 보였는데, 주님께서는 내 생각을 멈추시고 이렇게 말씀하셨다, “그들은 그들의 이미지를 굉장히 의식한다. 그들은 나보다 그들의 이미지에 더 신경 쓰곤 한다. 와우! 주님의 이 말씀은 내가 멈추어 생각하게 만들었다. 나는 내가 얼마나 이래왔는지 생각해봤다. 제가 이렇다면 보여주세요 성령님! 제가 주님께 초점을 맞출 수 있도록 도와주소서.
나는 천국을 방문하는 분들이 어떻게 이런 영적 결함을 모를 수 있을지 의아했다. 그러자 주님께서는 경고하셨다, “지금은 미혹이 너무 커서, 잘하려고 하는 사람들도 그들이 하는 것이 부적절하다는 것을 알지 못한다. 이런 부적합한 것들이 오랫동안 지속되어 왔기 때문에 어떤 사람들은 그것이 옳은 것이라고 생각한다. 그들이 여기 오는 것은 그들이 더 뚜렷하게 볼 수 있도록 하기 위해서다. 이제는 그들의 사각지대가 드러나서 그들이 회복되어야 할 때 이다. 하지만 이것은 고침 받기를 구하고 그것을 받아 들이려는 겸손하고 열린 마음을 필요로 한다!” 와우! 이것은 나를 또 멈추고 생각하게 하는 말씀이셨다. 나 역시 회복이 필요한 곳에 계시의 빛이 비춰져야 할 사람 중에 하나인가? 나도 왕국에서 더 잘 섬길 수 있도록, 여기저기 수리가 필요한가? 내 머릿속에 들어온 생각은, “당연히 나도 그런 사람 중 하나이지!” 였다. 그렇기 때문에 주님께서 이렇게 오랜 시간을 들여서 이런 것들을 보여주시는 것이다. 나는 이제 주님을 더 잘 섬기기 위해, 고쳐지고 훈련 받을 마음이 있어야 한다. 우리 안에서 회복되어야 하는 것을 보는 것을 멈출 때, 우리는 스스로 의롭다 여기고 다른 사람들을 비판하기 시작한다는 것을 나는 갑자기 깨달았다. 주님 우리를 도와주소서! 우리가 항상 겸손하여 고침을 받는 것에 열려 있을 수 있도록 도와주셔서 우리가 계속해서 영광에서 영광으로 나아가게 하소서!
나는 몇 명의 다른 사람들과 함께 다시 거실로 오게 되었다. 그 중 어떤 남자가 살아 있는 듯한 로보트를 가지고 있는 것을 보았다. 그는 그것을 빨리 끄고 치우려고 노력 하고 있었다. 나는 이것이 무슨 의미인지 몰랐다. 내가 이것을 이해 하려고 하자, 또 다른 사람이 같은 것을 하고 있는 것을 보았다. 나는 이것을 이해하게 해달라고 했다. 주께서는 그들이 너무나 오랫동안 속고 있었기 때문에 그들이 성령 안에서 경험 하는 것 조차 역동적이지 못하고 기계적인 것이 되어 버렸다고 했다. 그들은 성령님께서 하시는 말씀이 싫었기 때문에 그의 음성을 끄려고 노력하고 있었다. 그들은 성령님을 끄고, 나중에 필요할 때 까지 우선 창고에 넣어 두려 하고 있었다. 이것은 내게 또 다른 “와우!” 의 순간이었다.
내가 이러고 있지는 않은가 나는 생각했다. 나는 매일 내 안에 성령님이 새롭게 임하시라고 기도한다. 내 삶에 성령님을 환영하고 나를 모든 진리로 인도하시라고 기도한다. 내가 성령님께서 하시는 말씀을 그래도 듣지 않으려고 할 수도 있는 걸까? 나는 내가 정말 이러지 않기를 기도한다. 당신은 어떠한가? 주님께서는 이 말씀을 주셨다: “또 그들에게 이르시되, ‘사람이 등불을 가져오는 것은 말 아래에나 평상 아래에 두려 함이냐? 등경 위에 두려 함이 아니냐? 드러내려 하지 않고는 숨긴 것이 없고, 나타내려 하지 않고는 감추인 것이 없느니라. 들을 귀 있는 자는 들으라.’ 또 이르시되, ‘너희가 무엇을 듣는가 스스로 삼가라. 너희의 헤아리는 그 헤아림으로 너희가 헤아림을 받을 것이며, 더 받으리니, 있는 자는 받을 것이요 없는 자는 그 있는 것까지도 빼앗기리라.’ ” (마가복음4:21-25).
우리는 지금 곧 다가올 것에 대해 준비하는 시간이며, 주님께서는 우리가 준비 될 수 있도록 도와주고 계신다. 이것은 주님의 사랑이다. 주님은 우리가 불순종의 영으로 실격되길 원치 않으신다. 주님은 우리 중 아무도 속아서 방문의 시기를 놓치는 일이 없기를 바라신다. 주님께서는 교만이 우리의 앞길을 막는 것을 원치 않으신다. 주께서 우리를 사랑하심으로, 우리의 모든 필요를 채우시기 위해 은혜를 주고 계시다는 것에 나는 안심이 됐다. 나는 이렇게 기도한다, “주님 우리가 주께서 주시는 것을 받을 수 있도록 도와주세요! 우리가 더 배우는 자세가 되도록 도와주셔서 주님을 더 잘 섬길 수 있도록 하소서! 성령께서 우리를 모든 속임으로부터 나오게 하시고 진리로 인도하옵소서! 아멘.”
최근 릭조이너가 한 말을 기억하라: “속임의 문제는, 당신이 속고 있기 때문에, 속임을 당했다는 것을 모른다는 것입니다.” 우리가 자유케되고 추수를 위해 준비 되어질수 있는 방법은 오직 예수 그리스도와 그가 주시는 성령의 은사 뿐이다!
This morning, after an awesome experience of the Lord’s presence in worship, I found myself back in the living room I have visited several times in the last couple of weeks. I arrived just as the last people were going out the door. There were several angels still in the living room. Some were cleaning up after the party. Others were working at repairing some devices I had never seen before. One angel was working on a small machine about twelve inches square and perhaps 8 inches thick. I asked for understanding and the Lord said that they were still making repairs on some of the hidden things. Someone had left this behind for repairs. I was told that it was their voice for proclaiming the gospel. It was not the larynx or vocal chords. It was some type of spiritual gift which had not been properly used and needed to be put back into operation for this harvest worker. I was a little surprised that he wanted to leave it behind like this.
After a few minutes, I was taken outside and watched as a group of men prepared for a group photo. They were standing in 4 rows with about 10 people in each row. They all had on black suits with white shirts and dark ties. They looked very well groomed and ready for a great picture to be made. To me it looked like all was well, but the Lord interrupted my thoughts and said, “They are very conscious of their personal images. In fact, they are often more concerned about their image than mine.” Wow! That comment made me stop and think. I wondered how many times I had done that? If I am guilty, please reveal it Holy Spirit! Help me to stay focused on the Lord.
I started to wonder how people visiting in heaven could be so unaware of a spiritual flaw like this? The Lord cautioned, “The deception is so great now that many very well-meaning people have no idea that what they are doing is inappropriate. Inappropriate things have been done for so long that some people think they are the right thing to do. The reason they are here is to help them see more clearly. It is a time for their blind spots to be revealed so they can be restored. But, it takes a willing and humble heart to seek and accept correction!” Wow! That was another comment which made me stop and think. Am I one of those who needs the light of revelation to reveal areas which need to be restore? Do I need for things to be repaired so that I can serve better in the kingdom? The thought which came into my head was, “Of course I am one of them!” That’s why the Lord spends so much time revealing these things. Now, I need to be willing to be corrected and disciplined so that I can serve Him better. I suddenly realized that when we stop seeing the things in us which need restoration, we will begin to be self-righteous and judgmental toward others. Lord, help us! Help us to stay humble and willing to receive correction so that we can continue to go from glory to glory!
I was led back inside the living room with a few other people. I watched one man who had something which looked like a very lifelike robot. He was working hard to turn it off and put it away. I didn’t understand what that meant. As I tried to understand, I saw someone else doing the same thing. I asked for help in understanding this. The Lord said, that they had been in deception for such a long time that even their experience of the Holy Spirit had become mechanical instead of dynamic. They were trying to turn off the voice of the Holy Spirit because they didn’t like what He was saying. They wanted to turn him off and put him in storage until they needed Him again. This was another “Wow!” moment for me. I wondered if I am doing that. Every day, I cry out to the Lord for the Holy Spirit to fall afresh on me. I pray for the Holy Spirit to be welcome in my life and guide me into all truth. Is it possible that in some ways I am still trying not to listen to what He is saying? I certainly pray that I will not do this. How about you?
The Lord gave me this passage today: “He said to them, “Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don’t you put it on its stand? For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.” “Consider carefully what you hear,” he continued. “With the measure you use, it will be measured to you—and even more. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.” (Mark 4:21-25)
We are in a time of preparation for what is soon to come and the Lord is helping us to be ready. This is an act of love on His part. He doesn’t want any of us to be disqualified by a rebellious spirit. He doesn’t want any of us to be deceived and miss the time of our visitation. He doesn’t want us to let human pride block us from our destiny. I was reassured that the Lord is doing this out of His deep love for us and His commitment to giving us more grace to meet all our needs. I pray, “Lord help us to receive what you are giving! Help us to be open to improvement so that we are better prepared to serve you! Let the Holy Spirit guide us out of deception into all of your truth! Amen
Remember what Rich Joyner said recently: “The problem with deception is that you don’t know that you are deceived because you are in deception.” Our only way to get free and be made ready for the harvest is through Jesus Christ and His gift of the Holy Spirit!
